Captured by the cops in the Middle East country Noman, Sameer Chaudhary (Vidyut Jammwal) agrees to reveal everything to I.K. Mishra, an Indian Embassy official about his arrest. A flashback unfolds, where Sameer a software Engineer marries to a woman named Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi) in 2007. Their lives turn upside down when the  financial crisis in 2008 leaves them both jobless. Three months later they apply for jobs in Noman with the help of Nadeem (Vipin Sharma), an employee of Ansaar Overseas Recruitment. Nargis leaves first and Sameer stays so that he can arrive once his documents are ready in a few days.

After her arrival in Noman, Nargis calls Sameer and pleads for help. Sameer interrogates Nadeem with the help of the cops and arranges for travel to Noman, and meets Usman Hamid Ali Murad (Annu Kapoor), a taxi driver. After exchanging money and buying a local SIM card Sameer calls every number provided by Nadeem but none is reachable. He asks Usman to take him to the address given by Nadeem but learns there’s no such address.

Usman takes Sameer to the police station, where Sameer learns on phone that Nadeem has gone missing. With cops not helping, he approaches the Indian Embassy where a lady official agrees to contact the higher official. Soon Sameer gets the address and name of the person from whose phone Nargis had contacted him. Learning the man is Shirazi, goes on search for him but doesn’t find him. Later Usman and Sameer learn from a former friend about Shirazi’s flesh trading. Sameer and Usman visit Brothels in search of Nargis and find her in one of them, but as she recognizes Sameer he is attacked by the owner followed by a car chase and killing many which led him to his arrest while an injured Usman is admitted in the hospital.

Back to present, as Sameer has finished narrating this to the official, he is approached by a cop named Faiz Abbu Malik (Shiv Panditt) who decides to help him with his team, including Officer Tameena Hamid (Aahana Kumra). Together they view the CCTV footage of the Noman airport where they see Nargis arriving and then entering a black van outside of which a mysterious bald man is seen which is revealed as Iztek Regini, an Algerian modeling coordinator who later orders to kill Nargis. Soon, Faiz and Tameena come across a corpse and believe it to be Nargis. Sameer refuses to believe it to be her, but after seeing her pendant, he is shattered. Following her funeral, Sameer is handed over compensation and tickets to India. In the meantime, Tameena learns Nargis is alive and the corpse they found was of a different woman.

She and Faiz try to find Sameer assuming he had boarded the flight which he never did. Now willing to seek revenge, Sameer posts a Résumé as a foreign woman to meet Iztek and arranges a gun. Disguised as a girl, Sameer arrives at Iztek’s house and holds him at gunpoint. The two violently fight, with Sameer about to kill Iztek before the later reveals Nargis is alive. Soon Faiz and Tameena who’ve told Usman about Nargis being alive, arrives and confirms the same. However, Faiz is revealed to be an ally of Iztek’s, after he takes the gun from Sameer and gets into a fight with Tameena and kills her and frames Sameer of her murder. Sameer drives the truck containing nargis and other women, along with an injured Usman. A chase unfolds between Iztek and him and Faiz meets the King Pin of the flesh trade who was photographed by an investigating agent of the Noman government who exposes Faiz. As Sameer drives the truck to the embassy, he is captured and held on gunpoint by Faiz, before his betrayal is revealed by the Commissioner.

Sameer beats him down. Nargis and other women are freed, Tameena is given a proper funeral. A recovering Usman meets Sameer and Nargis and blesses them before they depart for India saying “KHUDA HAAFIZ” with a smile. In the end, Faiz wakes up in the middle of a desert. He starts cursing the guards before they shoot him to death.

Conclusion

Guys you don’t wanna miss this movie. This is Vidyut’s best performance. He played the character very well and did justice to the character by doing stunts that’s expected from his character Sameer (who was a Software Engineer). All stunts were very well crafted keeping the character in mind. Watch it to experience yourself.

Hospital Playlist | Review | SpillBoard

Korean dramas currently are at the apex of their industry. Encroaching upon new grounds, these captivating series have made its way to the U.S., mostly through Netflix. I personally love numerous Korean dramas on Netflix as well; from the recent “Crash Landing on You” to “Love Alarm” back in 2017, I’ve watched a handful of dramas to call myself a fan. Recently, I’ve been watching one that took a quite different approach to its story plot: “Hospital Playlist.” Released in March 2020, “Hospital Playlist” made its way to being one of the most-watched Korean dramas in South Korea. Just in the first episode, we are introduced to five friends who knew each other since the start of medical school. As a Korean medical school consists of 6-years, including college and medical school, they practically have known each other for almost 20-years. Kim Joon-Wan (played by Jung Kyoung-Ho), a cardiothoracic surgeon, is caring to the patients and his friends while insensitive to the residents...

LOOTCASE | Review

A bag full of money seems to be the end of all troubles. Right!? Well, that isn’t the case for Nandan Kumar (Kunal Khemu) of Disney+ Hotstar’s new release, LOOTCASE . When Nandan stumbles upon a bag full of Rs 10 Crores in the middle of the night, his sanskaar tells him to return the bag to its original owner. So, he (in a hushed tone) says, “ Last time puchh raha hoon, kiska bag hai? ” Since nobody can hear him, he has no option but to take the bag home and spend all the money in it. Oh! What a task! But what seemed to be the end of all his struggles actually ends up becoming one. His beloved bag, that he names ‘ Anand Petikar’ (or Joy Bagman) isn’t really easy to hide. Spending the entire amount together is not really an easy task. He dreams of buying a luxurious flat, but then nobody really takes ₹4 Crores in cash. So, Nandan decides to take out small portions of the money, wraps it and hides it safely in various corners of his home. But for a man living in a chawl in Mumbai, find...
